PQI/Renishaw Scanning Probes
    Scanning converts complex free-form shapes into numerical data. As the probe scans back and forth across the surface, it records information about the part in digital form. This data can be used to create a CNC program to machine a duplicate or geometric variant of the part, or can be exported to a CAD/CAM system for further manipulation.
